Lessons are bite-sized, easy to understand 10 to 15 minute videos that provide clear guidance and understanding of a topic.

The first 2 videos of every unit are free, so you can see the teaching style before you spend anything. Beyond that we do not run a free trial.
Monthly and Annual memberships come with a 30 day money back guarantee. If it is not working for you, tell us within 30 days of your first payment and we will refund it in full, no questions asked.
Single unit purchases are final, since one unit can be watched in a weekend. If a technical problem on our end stops you watching what you paid for, contact us and we will make it right.

Absolutely, anywhere you have internet access. Lessons work on phones, tablets, and computers. Virtually There Teaching was designed to let students access videos at their own pace, at times that work for them.
Videos require an internet connection. Offline downloads are not currently supported.

Typical lessons are short, about 8 to 15 minutes, to keep learning focused and manageable. This is not about overload, it is about getting the golden nugget of information and retaining it as you move on to more advanced concepts.

Yes. As long as your access period is active, you can watch and rewatch lessons at your pace. In fact we encourage you to take notes, rewatch a section you did not understand, or come back to practice example problems in preparation for an exam.
Yes. The Chemistry For the Rest of Us Workbook contains questions for every section of every unit. Likewise, most units include dedicated practice-problem episodes where Jorge works problems start to finish.
Yes. Chemistry teachers get a free educator account. Teachers can send students direct links to specific lessons, assign episodes as homework, or leave them as sub plans. We also offer classroom, school, and tutoring-center licenses. See the Educators page →

They are designed to supplement your class, clarify confusing topics, and boost understanding, not to serve as formal accreditation. However, students who use Virtually There Teaching see their performance increase in accredited school classes.
Yes. The structured breakdown aligns well with AP-level thinking and skill building. Most units start with the basic principles of a concept and build all the way up to a university level expectation of understanding.
You can browse units by topic or filter for the specific concepts you are struggling with.
The site does not currently offer certificates. It is focused on mastery and understanding.
Yes. Jorge and other tutors offer live 1:1 online tutoring for students who want personal help on top of the video lesson content. We are currently working on creating our booking site through the webpage so for now Contact Us → to ask for individual tutoring.

Absolutely. Parents can use the lessons to support their student’s learning and homework help. This works incredibly well for homeschooled students in advanced science classes, where the curriculum has outpaced what parents remember or learned in school.
The lessons are delivered through an online video platform integrated into the website.
The site includes a Discussion tab where active subscribers can engage with the instructors and ask questions specific to their own study.
